Step-by-step instructions for Financial Institutions

In order to get your books straightened out, we need access to your accounts as a secondary user. Instructions for connecting us varies for each software platform or financial institution. Here are a few things to remember, regardless of where your manage your money:
Creating usernames | When creating an account name for us, please include the name of your business as part of the username. This is so helpful to us as we help you.
When in doubt | Our instructions here are basic guidelines. If you get stuck, remember you can contact your financial institution for set-up instructions specific to your situation.
User permissions | Select permissions that allow us to view bank statements and transactions. Different institutions have different permissions to choose from and call them different names (“read only”, “view only”, etc). Read the descriptions to help you make the best choice.
Paypal
Click the Settings icon next to "Log out".
Select 'Manage Users' or 'My settings' and click Update next to 'Manage Users.'
Click Add User.
Enter my information to create an account for us. Please make your business name a part of the username you create.
Click Save.
Chase
Sign in to your account and choose “Account Management”
Select “Access & Security Manager” from the drop-down menu.
Select “Add New User” and complete the fields on the page.
Choose all of your business accounts and select “Assign Access” to give us access to these accounts.
Bank of America
You must upgrade your online banking account to include Account Management.
Using this add-on, you can create an individual account access level and allow us to view accounts.
Shopify
Go to Settings > Users and click “Add users”.
Enter our email address (megan@numberswellnessco.com)
Select a role to assign to us and review the permissions to give us read-only access (edit or create a new role if needed).
Select whether two-step authentication is required.
Click “Save”.
Stripe
In the Dashboard, navigate to Team Settings.
Select “+ New Member” from the top right.
Add our email address (numbersbymegan@gmail.com) to invite us to the Stripe account.
Select “View Only” for our role.
Click “Invite” to invite us to your account.
American Express
Go to “My Account”, then “User Administration”.
Click “View/Modify” to create view only bank account access to allow us to view your accounts.
Relay
Sign into your Relay account and navigate to the Team tab.
Select “Advisors” at the top of your screen.
Click “+ Add new advisor”.
Enter our email address (numbersbymegan@gmail.com) and choose the appropriate permission level.
Select the checking/savings accounts you would like us to have access to if it prompts you to do so.
Click “Invite”.
